Sukshma Baba Report 143  18-11-15 Sathya 27  Mandir Sai Ram, This is an official report about the inauguration of the new mandir/auditorium Inauguration of Sri Sathya Sai Premamrutham Sri Sathya Sai Premamrutham   The Sri Sathya Sai Premamrutham, a magnificent architectural edifice, was inaugurated today, the18th November 2015 in the divine presence of our beloved Bhagawan. Lovingly named by Swami as "Sri Sathya Sai Premamrutham", it stands a testimony to the Lord's compassion and the love His devotees have for Him! It can simply be called the 'soul of Muddenahalli', all set to become the epicentre of love. Designed to perfection The auditorium cum prayer hall, adorned in white and gold, stands tall amidst the picturesque hilly backdrop. It can seat close to 10,000 people and has been inspired by European classical architecture. It boasts of 90 columns and spans 100*60 meters. Covered with a self-supporting metal roof, the hall has over 4500 LED lights on the false ceiling and a LED video wall to enable everyone seated to have a clear view of the stage. The entire building is environment friendly, with a passive cooling system, which lowers its reliance on electricity. The energy requirement of the hall, in the next few years, will be fully driven by solar power.         The overall design philosophy has been executed with a unique style, to elevate one above the realm of the mundane. Every facet of master planning and architecture – like energy efficiency, acoustics, sound and light systems, materials from around the world – have been planned meticulously, that evoke a unique identity. Divine Benevolence The story of how this beautiful building came to be is beautiful too. A year ago, on the 22nd of November 2014, when Baba visited the Sri Sathya Sai Samagamam, the outdoor stadium in Muddenahalli for a cultural program. He felt extremely pained seeing His children and devotees sitting in the open ground, exposed to the cold November air. He immediately expressed his desire to have a covered roof over the heads of the devotees. When God proposes, it is an opportunity for His devotees to step up and respond with equal gusto. On hearing this wish of Swami, His devotees from Singapore prayerfully offered to construct an auditorium cum prayer hall for the convenience and comfort of all. Soon, the area was identified, plans were drawn, resources were pooled and the construction work commenced in February 2015. Similar to all projects of Swami, this too got competed in the magical time frame of nine months. The 3Ps in action People, precision and passion – all three ingredients have gone into the making of this magnificent structure. The building, which strikes a visionary balance between context, humanism and beauty, this is veritably the work of faith and labour of love.
